Multimedia Designer
We are looking for a graphic designer with heavy focus and experience on photography and video editing and production to enhance and broaden the company’s visual portfolio and branding. During an ever-growing era with visual and digital communication becoming more and more the norm, we want to make sure to keep our products in front of our customers. The visual demonstration of our products should be engaging, current, and to the point, while keeping the company’s guidelines in mind. Great communication skills are a must with an international team to collaborate with.  
  • Set up and operate various production equipment including camera, audio, and lighting equipment for studio productions, product demonstrations and webinars
  • Create product videos for demonstration and promotion purposes (film and production)
  • Create and edit video campaigns for YouTube and other media outlets
  • Develop ideas and storyboards for videos
  • Product photography
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
  • Keep up to date on industry technology, techniques, and trends for photo and video production
  • Catalog production 
  • Occasionally work on digital and print advertisements 
  • Various marketing and design tasks 

Skills & Qualifications 
  • BA degree in graphic design with focus on photography and video
  • 2-5 years’ experience in graphic design, photography, and videography
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites with specialty in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills
  • Creative mind for new digital campaigns and video
  • Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
  • Effectively communicate expectations, design choices and deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the client’s needs in mind
  • Able to give, receive, and apply constructive criticism
  • Complete projects independently based on creative direction
  • Experience working with an Apple workstation
  • Experience with branding and the ability to adhere to established brand guidelines
  • A balanced mix of creative and technical know-how
  • Experience in print production and large-scale press printing projects 
  • Background in the medical education industry sector
  • Experience in digital marketing is a plus
  • Multilingual (Spanish)

Senior Accountant – Subsidiary Operations
American 3B Scientific is a leader in the market for didactic material for scientific, medical and patient education. The Company is owned by J.H. Whitney Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New Canaan, Conn. 3B Scientific develops, manufactures, markets the majority of the products it sells.  Additionally, the Company enters into exclusive distribution arrangements with other manufacturers to augment its product offering to be a single source for its customers.

Position: Senior Accountant – Subsidiary Operations

  • Handle all aspects of accounting for US based subsidiaries including but not limited to:
    • Prepare financial statements for subsidiaries and complete financial reports to Headquarters.
    • Maintain general ledger; post general journal entries and perform account reconciliations
    • Bank account reconciliations
    • Process accounts payable, prepare and send checks
    • Process and send customer invoices, collect accounts receivable and apply cash receipts
    • Maintain fixed asset subledger and depreciation schedules
    • Reconcile intercompany balances with affiliates
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze budget variances
  • Management financial reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5 – 10 years work experience in a product environment

Field Sales Representative
Territories (3 Open): California, Northeast, Midwest

Position Description
The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully selling and marketing the full line of 3B Scientific products to end users and supporting 3B distributors. This person will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan for developing new business in their territory while maintaining the company’s strong presence in the industry. The Field Sales Representative will be an ambassador of our company, becoming a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policy. As a member of our team, they will use strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to customers as needed, which may include coordinating with other departments. The position will be remote/home office based and will require overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selling and marketing the full line of 3B Scientific Products
  • Develop, maintain and regularly update sales funnel of opportunities in territory
  • Uncover new 3B opportunities with existing customers
  • Become a subject matter expert on all 3B products
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales, preferably outside sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field
  • Education in and/or simulation sales experience
